Note: I only made note of my loco hauled trains at this time.

I bailed at Crewe and immediately rain into the “Grusome Twosome” so I made my excuses and left. With the dragging loco for S19 being a dud 47 I waited at Crewe for a southbound train and that produced a 25 on G00, the Crewe – New Street. Not bad, so I bailed at Wolverhampton to cover the following train in the hope that it would produce a Roarer but instead got an 86/2. Arrived at New Street in time to catch an NB Duff on the Manchester. Things were now going well for me as I continued up to Stafford returning with a 47/3 for another required 47 to Wolves. This was to be almost my last required loco of the day as I headed to Derby behind the usual rubbish to get to Nottingham for the returning 20s on the Skegness – Derby, a double score. That was followed by a restful journey home with the Sheffield – New Street train to conclude what had not been a bad weekend.
