Note: I only made note of my loco hauled trains at this time.

Friday had been the last day of my Southern Region Rover but finding I needed the 73 on the 2252 Waterloo meant my overnight moves would be the EDs again before heading home. Well tonight the Ramsgate was also a winner and that meant I would get off at Faversham for the Dover portion. Once on that I again slept through to Canterbury and had to quickly revise my move to one that saw me bail at Dover for a unit back to Victoria. I had no problem in finding a suitable exit from the station and was soon on my way to Paddington for a train home.

I found a class 31 working the Manchester and this train very quickly got crowded. Never mind, this was going to be a long journey and I slept through most of it! By the time we got to New Street I felt a bit more awake and it was just as well I did for a few minutes after getting off there was a required NB 47 working a Leamington train which Pete Cuffley dragged me on to. It cost me all of my remaining money to buy a Midland Railtourer ticket for that move but it was a worthwhile investment as there was an instant 47/3 on the return. This one surprised us at New Street by being required because when we had got on it at Leamington Pete asked the guard what the number was and the one he gave us was not a winner. However the guys at New Street had a much better view of it and confirmed it had a completely different number, one which was required.

I now headed north to Derby with yet another 47/3 and that enabled me to catch the 25s working the Llandudno and Yarmouth services. There's not much to do at Derby off these so I joined Pete and another guy with a 45/1 down to Leicester for the 31 on the Norwich train home which was another winner!
