There’s a class 56 on the drags and a few more new engines

Note: I only made note of my loco hauled trains at this time.

The overnight move started with a KFC meal before I joined the top bashers, including Jane, on the train to Crewe. The move was up to Preston to cover the dragging and I was in for two trains. My first had double class 86s and a NB Duff to Wigan where, after a short wait, a required 40128 arrived to take me to Crewe via Manchester where I rejoined my two electrics again. The morning Barmouth 25s included a new one so I took those to Wolverhampton and then headed to Stafford for a not so interesting required EH Duff back to Wolves. Ah ha! A class 56 is programmed for the next Birmingham train so I caned that in, had lunch and then had it back up to Wolverhampton so I could drop onto another NB 47 on the drags back to New Street. Things were going well now as there was another new Duff to International for a return to catch an NB Duff on the Poole train to Leamington and if that wasn't enough I had another new Duff back! Although it was 2000 hrs now the class 31 on the Cambridge train was a NB 31 and also required so I deposited myself on it and headed out to Leicester, returning on the last Norwich to complete an excellent weekend with twenty three new engines!
